Villa Waterloo Zevenbergen

Villa Waterloo is the former director's residence of the Azelma sugar factory, the first sugar factory in the Netherlands.

From 1905, the building was used as a girls' boarding school, and from 1925 to 1978 as the town hall of the former municipality of Zevenbergen. The Waterloo executive villa was built in an eclectic style (1870). This means a mixture of various neo-styles, including Neo-Romanesque and Neo-Renaissance.
